Superhighway threatens Episcopal retreat

Episcopalians are protesting plans to build a superhighway near Camp Allen, their retreat center in Navasota, Texas. They say the proposed route for the 8-lane highway would “destroy the peace and tranquility” of their 87-year-old center. The $50-million facility is one of a kind, Episcopal leaders say.
