Kicking off the summer, Pope Benedict sported his red “Marlboro Man” hat (actually known as a Saturno) for the first time this year at today’s weekly audience in St. Peter’s Square, where he gave a short catechesis (or doctrinal lecture) on St. Isidore of Seville, who among other things is patron saint of the Internet.
