Staver, dean of Liberty University School of Law and founder of Liberty Counsel, picked the title of a patriotic song from World War II to celebrate the U.S. Supreme Court’s 5-4 decision Thursday that struck down the District of Columbia’s handgun ban. “‘Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition’ is the best way to describe today’s decision,” Staver said in a statement released by his conservative law firm.
