    It was hearing things just like this that made me embarrassed to ask any of my friends to join me at church. I am so sorry for this sad excuse of a reason for prayer.

    And what if this malicious demagogue doesn’t get his rainstorm? I would interpret this as indicating the boneheaded creep is on the wrong side. But that’s obvious, isn’t it?

    This fellow better watchout. Sometimes you need to be careful what you pray for. Obama is a good Christian with many Christian followers and it will be up to God to make the decision. Praying for bad to befall your opponent is not always the best tactic.

    It would be wonderful for word of this prayer request to spread far and wide, and for millions to honor it, if for no other reason than to emphasize the nonexistent correlation between prayer and the answering of it, other than in the imagination of its proponents.
