Or so says Steve Waldman over at Beliefnet. I’m going to reserve judgment on the exit polls for now, but here’s what folks are saying so far:

Waldman: Obama improved on John Kerry’s showing with evangelicals in the rust belt states. Kerry got 24% in Ohio; Obama seems to be getting 29%. In Indiana, Kerry got 22%. Obama got 32%.

Ohio, via CNN:McCain holds slight margin among Catholics over Obama, 51-47 percent.
