In his weekly address, President Obama on Saturday looked ahead to his signing of the economic stimulus package and looked back to a quote about prayer from President John F. Kennedy as a way to approach a critical time:
“Do not pray for easy lives. Pray to be stronger men. Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers equal to your tasks.”
