I think you’ll find that it’s actually Marsh’s opponent, Craig Lowe, who is the openly gay mayoral candidate in the current Gainesville runoff election. Marsh’s bio on his website talks about his wife of 32 years, Cindi (http://donaldmarsh.com/blog/?page_id=5).

Craig Lowe, on the other hand, was honored by the Human Rights Council of North Central Florida in 1998 for being one of the most prominent voices in helping to win the passage of city-level protection against discrimination for LGBT people in housing and employment in Gainesville in the 1990s, and he was also honored by Equality Florida in 2009 with their “Voice for Equality”award, both of which are mentioned on his campaign webpage at http://www.craiglowe.com/meet-craig.php.

Wow, this guy has issues. I honestly think he is repressing his own homosexuality, there is no other logical explanation for his “anger.” If you don’t like that Gainesville is the 11th gayest city, move. Move to a filed where you and other hateful whackos can yell and scream all day long.
