It is interesting that the Vatican’s forthcoming norms on sex abuse, to be incumbent on the Church worldwide, will have no statute of limitations, but that the dioceses of Connecticut are hard at work opposing new legislation that would remove the statute of limitations on civil suits in sex abuse cases.
