Done.” You may have just been joking with that commentary, but for readers who don’t know, child soldiers would probably be at very high risk if they were just sent on their way. They may have no family to go to. They have been trained to fight and have seen things most other children in the world wouldn’t have seen. They most definitely will be suffering the effects of war. Entire agencies have been formed to work with former child soldiers, so it’s not quite as simple as just letting them go.
