Matisyahu, the onetime-Hasidic-but-still-Jewish reggae rapper, is in trouble. The artist made waves in the Jewish reggae community (yes, that exists) last month when he posted an image of himself to his twitter feed without his trademark beard. As a result, some commentators are wondering if Matisyahu is hurting his career and his faith.

There’s a lot of chatter on the Christian blogosphere about a video in which a poet explains why he hates religion but loves Jesus.

In today’s “Wait-wha?” news, the Washington Post asks: are evangelicals getting too sexy?


Speaking of unexpected religious sexiness, Tila Tequila — a model/singer/famous person known for having a ton of friends on Myspace and a racy MTV reality show — is apparently converting to Judaism.
