(RNS) ABC's saucy new drama, "GCB" has been panned by critics and called "anti-Christian" by Newt Gingrich. TLC cancelled its controversial reality show, "All-American Muslim," and anything short of "Touched By an Angel" seems to flop. Piet Levy explores why.

This article is moronic on it’s face.
It says that religion doesn’t sell well, but it’s examples of shows are ones that MOCK Christianity. Gee, I wonder why Christians (which is still the majority of the US) don’t want to watch a show that mocks them and/or their religion?!?
If Hollywood would make a show that didn’t mock Christianity (see the 2 successful shows cited: Touched By an Angel or Highway to Heaven) maybe Christians would actually watch them.
