CLEVELAND (RNS) When Bishop Richard Lennon began closing 50 Catholic churches three years ago, the bulk of the faithful quietly moved on. But Patricia Schulte-Singleton was not intimidated by a Roman collar, a bishop's edict or the raised eyebrows of the obedient. By Michael O'Malley.

    We are all so filled with overwhelming joy since the re-opening of our church was announced.God Bless everyone having a part,big or small in what will go down in history as “One for mankind”.How the Diocese ever thought they could close a peoples church is beyond me.We have too much faith/hope to ever have rolled over.
