Edgar was nothing more than a politician who used his ministry credentials as an attempt to shield him from any criticism or opposition. When he wasn’t playing politician (Which was rare), he was a typical liberal Protestant, a heretic who advanced the Gospel of liberalism, not that of Jesus Christ (NB: the Gospel is way more than simply being compassionate to the poor). Good riddance to him. May God have mercy on him.
