Comcast-DC Censors “in the role of Obama’s IRS”
Child Sex Abuse Concerns
GRAPEVINE, TX – As delegates for the Boy Scouts of America convene this week in Texas to weigh a BSA board initiative for gay scouts, conservatives began airing two TV spots dealing with the Scouts, homosexuality and House Speaker John Boehner.
“It’s all the same phenomenon. Seemingly responsible adults and so-called leaders from Texas to Ohio to Washington keep caving to President Obama’s bullying,” said NoMoreWimpouts.com spokesman Craig Bergman, who announced the TV spots, now running in Dallas and Cincinnati and yet, he claimed, banned by Comcast censors in DC.
A TV spot on the Boy Scouts entitled “Big Tent Boehner,” urges,“Moms and dads, guard your sons!” Meanwhile, the Family Research Institute of Colorado Springs published a report on the Boy Scouts and child sex abuse which claimed that “the relative risk of sexual abuse by [homosexuals] far outweighs the risk of sexual abuse by heterosexual males. Statistically, the relative risk is likely anywhere from 6 to 20 times as great.”
Dr. Paul Cameron, author of that and another report citing Danish gay marriage death statistics published by Oxford, was the first scientist to document the hazards of second hand smoke. Another TV spot to air next week starts with the cigarette-style notice, “WARNING: Gay Marriage may be Hazardous to your Son’s Health, Senator Portman.” The ad, depicting a crying Boehner with Boy Scouts, urges Boehner to, “Go straight! …Man-up now to America’s Bullying Gay Activist-in-Chief!
Separately, Tony Perkins, president of the DC-based Family Research Council, claims that gays are more likely to molest minors than heterosexuals, while the conservative scouting group OnMyHonor.net contends BSA is fully aware of the increased “risk of boy-on-boy sexual contact in Scouting….The complexity of sleeping arrangements will create a myriad of social and legal liability challenges….BSA leaders… did not have the safety and security of the boys as their paramount concern.”
Bergman said, “Even with paid TV, the science on homosexuality is being suppressed. It’s like Dr. Cameron is Galileo – or Comcast is in the role of Obama’s IRS.
