    Guaranteed to give you diabetes.
God, if you exist….why do you have to stoop so low?

This is how you reveal Yourself? This was your plan?
Using a 4 year old boy’s near death hallucination and familial leading questions to prove once and for all that Ganesha, Vishnu, Zeus, Allah and The Hummingbird Wizard are not the true Gods?

This is a sucker punch. Completely unworthy of a the greatest being in all of the universe! To reject God is to reject….a sweet little boy?

How awful! God, are you sure you aren’t the devil?

My heart breaks over your lack of joy for seeing God in all creation and in each other, you will be in my prayers Max and I hope they don’t make you too uncomfortable!

  • Atheist Max

My heart breaks that you aren’t thinking clearly.
The God you are talking about…

“bring to me those enemies of mine who do not want me as their King, and Execute them in front of me.” – Jesus (Luke 19:27)

I certainly don’t want Jesus for my King.
So I guess he wants me killed – so your prayers won’t work.

Why do I not want Jesus for my King? Because Jesus wants my friends killed too:

“everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman.” (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

Jesus included commands found only in Leviticus (Mark 10:19)

You’re comment really doesn’t warrant a reply, but you NEED to go see “God is NOT dead.” May God grant you His mercy.

  • Atheist Max

    @Mary B,

Of course, I saw ‘God is not dead’. Silly, cloying, childish nonsense.

The idea that a teacher – especially an atheist teacher – would dismiss God as ‘DEAD’ is laughable. College Teachers do not dictate to students. They discuss.
That is why college kills religion – because a person who thinks for himself is almost guaranteed to give up God.

Ironically – It is ONLY in a Religious Seminary where you MUST think like the teachers! And they tell you so! Or you won’t get to be a priest someday.

Clearly, religious people detest any sign of intelligence, critical thinking or analysis. That is why you love this movie. It validates the fantasy that we don’t have to think about (let alone discuss) these matters.

    “Just see the movie”.

They would rather die than think for themselves.
