John A. Furton, Vice President of Purchasing with Family Video stated, “Bruce Kugler’s analysis of the Biblical and judiciary intersection is very powerful, and we are pleased to offer this DVD. By special arrangement, we are offering our customers the DVD rental for free.”

Several courtrooms where Abraham Lincoln practiced law serve as the backdrop for the documentary. It is a faith-based program that presents the Gospel from a lawyer’s perspective using legal analogies.

Bruce Kugler, a former attorney with the United States Department of Justice, takes common principles in a criminal case and compares them with the trials that will take place in God’s courtroom after death. Many people may be surprised to learn that what the Bible says  happens after death looks a lot like the proceedings in the average courtroom. Kugler uses scriptures to describe the charge, the penalty, potential legal defenses, the role of witnesses, and, most importantly, God’s offer of a pardon. The film presents this important challenge to everyone: “You will one day stand trial in God’s Courtroom. Are you prepared?”

“Bruce’s combination of a strong understanding of Scripture and his legal expertise make him well qualified to deliver such an eye-opening message to the world today,” says Michael L. Henderson, Senior Pastor, First Baptist Church, Springfield, Illinois.

God’s Courtroom has been aired on several Christian television networks in the United States and in four countries. Additional information can be found at www.godscourtroom.org.
