Cincinnati, Oh. (June 6, 2014) – Franciscan Media, a leading Catholic publisher and Franciscan ministry, has sold Catholic Update and other parish resources to Liguori Publications. This will allow Franciscan Media to focus specifically on resources for individual Catholics and Christians. The purchase is part of a collaborative agreement that enables both companies to use their strengths to better serve Catholic parishes and individuals.

On June 2, Catholic Update, Catholic Update On Demand, Faith Formation Update, and Bringing Home the Word, as well as related books, videos, and other products, joined Liguori’s parish resources and solutions. Franciscan Media will continue to publish and provide print and other media products from trusted brands such as St. Anthony Messenger magazine, Servant Books, Franciscan Media books, Catholic Greetings, Saint of the Day, AmericanCatholic.org, and more. Some of the products include e-books, apps, audio and video downloads, and online services.
