Surge of Migrant Children –As thousands of children fleeing the violence and poverty of Central America continue to flood into the Southwest, churches are helping the government take care of them. Saul Gonzalez reports on the continuing crisis and how it is triggering angry debates and widespread uncertainty about the future for the detained children and of long term immigration reform.

Mental Health in India – For the millions of people in India suffering from mental health disorders there are only a few thousand psychotherapists. That gap, alongside popular devotion to faith healing and witchcraft, has kept many afflicted Indians from getting any effective care. But Fred de Sam Lazaro reports that in some places, alongside traditional treatment —  modern medical care is being gradually being accepted.
