“The Nobel Committee regards it as an important point for a Hindu and a Muslim, an Indian and a Pakistani, to join in a common struggle for education and against extremism.” — Norwegian Nobel Committee chairman Thorbjorn Jagland, in announcing the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize to 17-year-old Malala Yousafzai of Pakistan and Kailash Satyarthi of India.

What Mr. Jagland has said is so beautifully correct and this Peace Prizehas been given at a remarkable moment on the stage of World History.
We are all Citizens of this Planet and should be duty bound to do away with enemity.
Instead we should relish, nuture and cherish the uniqueness of our global diversity.
I hope and wish India and Pakistan can lead the way and show that living as peaceful, friendly neighbours is possible.
