(RNS) Nigerian government troops seem weak and incapable of stopping Boko Haram from becoming a growing danger to Africa's most populous country and the world's 10th largest oil exporter.

  • This is indeed the chilling, emerging reality. We expounded on the same notion in our own blog just yesterday, saying:

The salient fact is that ISIS is not an Iraq/Syria, or even a Middle East problem, nor is Boko Haram a Nigerian one. These are now world problems requiring world actions.

We must take strategic steps to change the narrative rather than continuing to react to attacks and let the narrative be written for us. Changing the dynamic of the fundamentalist Islamic movement takes an ambitious, dedicated effort that pulls together not just nations or “multi-national” military forces, but the non-Salafi Muslim leadership.

The ONLY solution regarding terrorism will be realized when God’s kingdom or heavenly government soon intervenes in man’s affairs and puts an end to this rapidly growing problem, as well as all the rest of the problems we humans now face.

As was prophecied by the prophet, Isaiah, we can soon look forward to the day when:

“But with righteousness shall he (Jesus, King of God’s government) judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth; and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked” (Isaiah 11:4).

    The psalmist further testified that:

“For yet for a little while, and the wicked shall not be; yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. But the MEEK shall inherit the EARTH, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of PEACE.” (Psalm 37:10,11).

These are promises from God, which will definitely take place; and they will not come about by man or any of his governments, but only through God’s government (Daniel 2:44).

    “National pride”? Seriously, Nigerians??

  • Larry

They are hands down the nation with most prolific cyber-fraud rings in the world. There is some pride in being the best at something. 😉

Untold millions have been siphoned away from idiots based on E-mails from princes looking to launder money and wayward oil tanker captians.
