SAN FRANCISCO – Many Catholics and non-Catholics alike have questions about the Church’s teachings on marriage, including:

  • Christ as the centerpiece of marriage;

  • Building a thriving marriage;
  • Protecting the sacramental bond;
  • Sexuality and authentic love;

BELOVED: Finding Happiness in Marriage is a 12-episode video series that addresses all the aforementioned topics — and more. It explores the essential realities of marriage, dealing with the deepest spiritual, emotional and practical aspects of what the sacrament. BELOVED uses Scripture, Tradition and Church teaching to present God’s plan for marriage.

It’s a timely program, given that the World Meeting of Families and Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops, both of which will address various topics concerning marriage, will be held later this year.


BELOVED features 46 presenters, including a number of prominent Catholics:

Dr. Edward Sri, Augustine Institute professor of theology and content director of BELOVED.

Dr. Timothy Gray, president of the Augustine Institute (Colorado), a dynamic new M.A. program in theology for the Evangelization in Denver. He also is professor of Sacred Scripture at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary.

Teresa Tomeo, motivational speaker, bestselling author and syndicated Catholic talk show host.

Jason Evert, well-known Catholic speaker and author, and founder of the Chasity Project.

Chris Stefanick, well-known Catholic speaker and author.

Dr. Pia de Solenni, theologian, ethicist and cultural analyst, who serves as the Associate Dean of the Augustine Institute (Orange County), located at Christ Cathedral.
