America’s Incarcerated – The United States has more people in prison than any other country in the world – more than 2-million Americans. That’s more than five times what it was back in the 1970’s,  and a disproportionate number of them are African Americans. Why are so many Americans in prison? And why is it that so many of them are minorities? Tim O’Brien reports.

Evangelicals and LGBT Acceptance – On April 28, the US Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in a case that could legalize same-sex marriage across the country. Many religious groups have filed briefs in both sides of the case. Evangelicals are among the staunchest opponents of gay marriage. Kim Lawton looks at how growing acceptance of LGBT issues in American society is posing new challenges for the evangelical community.
