Huckabee appears to believe that transgender people are perpetrating some sort of hoax so they can gain access to public restrooms or locker rooms. Or that they've chosen to identify with a particular gender on a whim.

Kirsten should lighten up. When that sort of joking is definitely not my idea of humor, it’s off-the-charts-oversensitive to get incensed about it. It doesn’t merit such an overreaction at all.

This is political correctness gone mad. It’s a prime example of how intolerance proceeds in the name of tolerance.

True tolerance means live and let live, including and especially with regard to speech.

I respect Kirsten and her (relatively) recent conversion to Christianity but Jack is right. She needs to lighten up. I am a conservative and I have laughed at hundreds of George W Bush jokes. Some village in Texas is missing its idiot. It can be called mean spirited but its just a joke.

Give me a break Jack. The man is a political figure planning to run for president. He doesn’t get the luxury of a little off color nasty-minded humor in public. Its not appropriate for his aspirations.

If he wants to spout off and have his statements laughed off, he can become a Fox News commenter.

Maybe its his sign that he is not taking his presidential candidacy seriously.
