Neither I nor present-day Christians, Catholic and non-Catholic alike, can erase two thousand years of anti-Semitism. If that is the reason for these attacks, then remember: YAH’SHUA (Jesus) is a Jew! And so were His Mother and all the early Chistians (the followers of the “Way” as it was called–others called them Christians–see the Acts of the Apostles:11:19-26)
Stop this hatred of other Faiths! We have just as much right to be citizens, tourists of Israel as the Israelis.

Yes, the New Testament of the Bible was written by Jews, and the Early Church was initially comprised of Jews who believed Jesus to be the Jewish Messiah, based upon what they saw, heard, and experienced with Him, and that they witnessed his Resurrection from the Dead. Hopefully these arsonists will see the error of their ways, and repent. In the meantime, we must rebuild our church, and it sounds as though Foxman and others gave a donation towards the rebuild the church. So hopefully more good will come from this than anything else.

What you are saying is! The jews invented Christianity? If so? Christianity does not exist! The jews are humanities only enemy? WOW! Can you imagine? All we need to do is get rid of the jews? and we will have a plentiful life?

  • Greg1

Juannon, nobody is asking you to become Christian, or Jewish. But yes, Christianity is from the Jews, and was begun by certain Jews. We believe Jesus is the Jewish Messiah.

  • Yes, Yeshua/Jesus made it quite clear when He said to the Samaritan woman at the well; “salvation is from the Jews”. (John 4) What does this mean? It means that God’s plan for mankind was to bring salvation to the world through Israel. This is the entire theme of the Bible. If you miss this narrative then you are missing the core of His teaching. God chose Abraham, through whom He brought about the people of Israel, and through whom He brought us Messiah-Jesus the Savior of the world. This is God’s doing. This is God’s plan. This is what the Word of God reveals to us. We need to receive Yeshua/Jesus as Savior and Lord and turn away from sin and follow God as He leads us through His Word and by his Holy Spirit. God’s forgiveness and peace and joy are there for all who come to Him through faith Jesus Christ. God Bless Shalom

“You know as well as I do that our biggest support comes from right wing Christian neocons. They don’t particularly like Jews. They just need us to keep the lights on for when their messiah comes”.
-Israel foreign Minister addressing the US secretary of State, The Brink A political comedy on HBO

  • Jack

Sounds like an ignoramus wrote that one. First off, “neocon” refers to Jewish conservatives and of late has been used by anti-Semites who allege that Jews control US foreign policy. Second, Christian support for Israel now extends far beyond eschatology. At this point, Christian and Jewish leaders have built real friendships that extend to daily life. They know each others’ families, buy gifts for each others’ children on birthdays and other occasions, go on vacations together, and pray with and for each other. It’s no longer a theoretical or abstract alliance from afar.
