DETROIT, Mich. — The Aramaic Broadcasting Network (ABN) will be airing the Arabic version of God’s Courtroom on September 5-6 at 2 pm EST.

Haifa Gorial, co-founder of ABN stated, “ABN appreciates the opportunity to air the Arabic version of God’s Courtroom. It is an important message that should be seen by all Arabic people both in the USA and around the world.”

Several historic courtrooms where Abraham Lincoln practiced law serve as the backdrop for the documentary. It is a faith-based program that presents the Gospel from a lawyer’s perspective using legal analogies.

Bruce Kugler, a lawyer from Illinois and former Trial Attorney with the United States Department of Justice, takes common principles in a criminal case and compares them with the trials that will take place in God’s courtroom after death. Many may be surprised to learn that what the Bible says happens after death looks a lot like the proceedings in the average courtroom. Kugler uses scriptures to describe the charge, the penalty, potential legal defenses, the role of witnesses, and, most importantly, God’s offer of a pardon. The film presents this important challenge to everyone: “You will one day stand trial in God’s Courtroom. Are you prepared?”

God’s Courtroom was dubbed into Arabic by Nashat Filmon, Executive Director of the Palestinian Bible Society, who traveled to Illinois from his home in Jerusalem to give voice to the project.   He requested Kugler to consider dubbing the film into Arabic to present a message of hope to the Arabic world.

ABN was the first Arabic Christian channel to be launched in North America to reach people of the Arabic language. ABN has six web streaming channels on its website www.abnsat.com. They also have an English channel that provides apologetic programming.  www.trinitychannel.com.  ABN has air satellite in North America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Middle East, and North Africa.  They use other platforms including IP TV like Zaap, Maacs, Ruku, and Chromcast.

“Most Arabic people realize that they will stand in judgment before God. God’s Courtroom is a unique approach and speaks to Arabic culture. It is important for everyone to watch this film,” says Mokhles Hanna, Senior Pastor, Arabic Baptist Church of Atlanta, Georgia.
