(New York, NY)The Boys of St. Paul’s Choir School’s “angelic voices” (Wall Street Journal) of “otherworldly beauty” (Los Angeles Times) greeted last year’s holiday season with rave reviews of their international recording debut Christmas in Harvard Square (Decca/AimHigher Recordings/UMC.) The album has spent 8 weeks in the Top 5 of Billboard’s Classical Traditional Chart, garnering appearances on ABC’s Good Morning America , CBS This Morning and Fox News Channel’sFox & Friends,” as well as their own PBS special “Christmas in Harvard Square.”

Their uncalculated success has evolved into an inspiring story this holiday season for this talented group of schoolboys Grades 4-8 who were never actively seeking the limelight. The choir was signed to a record deal in their own backyard based purely on their bell-like singing and collective talents. As the holiday season approaches, they continue to gain more admirers, with their annual typically sold out Christmas concerts confirmed for December 6th and 13th at St. Paul’s in Cambridge, MA (the second show was added by popular demand).

Choirmaster Mr. John Robinson, who originally hails from the UK and grew up in British Choir Schools, thoughtfully hand-picked the repertoire for Christmas in Harvard Square which includes ethereal renditions of classics including “O Come All Ye Faithful,” “Hark the Herald Angels Sing,” and “Angels We Have Heard,” among others. The album was produced by the Grammy Award-winning Blanton Alspaugh.

Having recently celebrated their 50th anniversary, The Boys of St. Paul’s Choir School have performed with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Leonard Bernstein, on the legendary stage of Carnegie Hall, in St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican for Pope Francis, and countless Boston Red Sox and Celtics games. The academy has been described not as a school with a choir, but as a choir with a school. Located in the heart of Harvard Square, the school has had a large impact within the Harvard community.
