NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Proclaim 16, the NRB International Christian Media Convention, will feature a Presidential Candidates Forum. Taking place just days before the “Super Tuesday” primaries in Tennessee and many nearby states, this will be an opportunity not to be missed.

“This is a pivotal year for our nation, and Christian communicators will be well-served to hear firsthand from those candidates who seek to hold the highest office in the United States,” said Dr. Jerry A. Johnson, President & CEO of NRB. “The policies and priorities of the next President of the United States will have major ramifications for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, so we must pay attention. Freedom to believe, and freedom to speak on-air and online, hang in the balance in this country and around the world.”

Salem Media Group and NRBTV will broadcast the Presidential Candidates Forum by radio and television nationally as acclaimed radio host and best-selling author Eric Metaxas moderates individual sessions with each Presidential candidate who participates. The event will also feature an on-stage panel for each session to ask candidates questions on issues of importance to the evangelical Christian community.

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R) and Dr. Ben Carson (R) have confirmed attendance on Friday, February 26, and several other candidates have committed and are coordinating their forum dates. NRB, a non-partisan, international association of Christian communicators whose member organizations represent millions of listeners, viewers, and readers, has invited candidates of both major American political parties to participate.

Dr. Johnson continued, “This event, just days before the March 1 ‘SEC Primary,’ is a must for anyone who wants to get a better idea of where the Presidential candidates stand on issues that Christians care about. Don’t miss it!”

Proclaim 16 will take place February 23-26 in Nashville, TN, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center.
