Dr. Albert Einstein, most prominent physicist in modern times, and world renowned for his formulation of the “Theory of Relativity,” was born in Germany in 1879. Dr. Einstein fled Nazi Germany in 1933 and accepted an appointment to the Institute for Advanced Study at Princeton, N.J. He arrived in the United States on October 17, 1933.
