The Sarah Palin odyssey continues to get stranger and stranger, as Politico has a new story linking the Republican vice presidential nominee with “Jews for Jesus” founder David Brickner. According to Ben Smith, Palin was in attendance on August 17 when Brickner paid a visit to Wasilla Bible Church.

ABC.com’s Jake Tapper, meanwhile, has the response from the McCain campaign:

McCain-Palin campaign spokesman Goldfarb said that Brickner “was a guest at the church who Gov. Palin did not know would be speaking, and she does not share the views he expressed. She and her family would not have been sitting in the pews of the church if those remarks were remotely typical.”
