NEW YORK – Faithbox, a unique subscription box company dedicated to encouraging individuals with spiritually and ethically focused products, announced this week the completion of its 2015 year-end goal to provide more than 100,000 meals for hungry children through a partnership with Rice Bowls.
Since Faithbox’s founding in 2014, its partnership with Rice Bowls has provided three meals for every monthly subscription box purchased.
“From the start, Faithbox was founded on the principle of making an impact,” said Willie Morris, founder, and CEO of Faithbox. “We are grateful for the many subscribers who have helped us achieve this milestone. Reaching the goal of 100,000 meals our first year only energizes our team to raise the bar and do even more in 2016.”
Faithbox partners with quality companies to include handpicked products in each monthly subscription box that are socially-responsible such as, SoapBox Soaps, Smiles for the People toothbrushes, Blue Planet sunglasses, THX coffee and Mitt Scoots socks. In addition to the Rice Bowls partnership, many of the companies with products featured in Faithbox make one-to-one charitable contributions. This combination makes Faithbox inspirational, practical and philanthropic.
Each box also includes a daily devotional book with reflections, Bible verses or suggestions for acts of kindness.
“We are thrilled to partner with companies who share our vision for giving back,” said Morris. “We hope to encourage and inspire our subscribers to take action and help improve the world through each box, and by including sustainable products and participating with programs such as Rice Bowls, we are able to do just that.”
