San Bernardino (RNS) — Bishop Gerald Barnes, who has led the Diocese of San Bernardino for 27 years, is introduced his successor Monday, Dec. 2. Barnes has been the longest-serving bishop of any diocese in the United States. He’s led the Diocese of San Bernardino for the past 27 years.
