LaCosta chose Labor Day to launch his ‘quint-essential’ pandemic iTunes single and YouTube video entitled Love Goes Viral because the holiday was the most appropriate day to salute those who bravely faced the crisis. “I wanted a hope-filled COVID memorial and snap-shot song minus any superficiality,” the writer of over 2,000 songs said. “This cut cuts deep into my heart because we were living it out while I wrote it out. I personally lived with the concern of an elder under my roof when I returned from work. It was heart-wrenching to watch my stepdaughter postpose her wedding twice. Two of my daughter’s businesses were shut down. My sister was unable to get critical eye surgery that left her seriously impaired. Even so, backbone abounded and this is a tune that people will remember and ponder even as they sing along with the upbeat rhythm.”
The country-pop chorus underscores the worldwide lesson that courage can’t be locked-down while the video powerfully portrays love in triumph across generational, ethnic and national borders. The catchy chorus rides along without skimping on simple profundity:

The Albany, New York-area hearing health care specialist didn’t close his office doors during the trying months and was inspired by others who continued their jobs and with stories of everyday people choosing love over fear.
