Empowered 21 leadership summit 2022 focuses on the EveryONE initiative and Amsterdam2023

SEOUL, South Korea — The Empowered 21 (E21) Global Council, Global Evangelist Alliance (GEA), Global Prayer Alliance and NextGen work groups met in Seoul, Korea, for strategic preparation surrounding the EveryONE initiative launching in 2023. EveryONE is a mission-centric strategy for a new era of evangelism to reach every person on earth with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A four-day gathering, June 21-24, 2023, will be held in the Amsterdam RAI and Olympic Stadium, launching a focused effort to fulfill the Great Commission by 2033.

E21 Global Chair, Dr. William M. Wilson (President of Oral Roberts University), pointed out, “In 2033, the world will celebrate the 2000-year anniversary of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Amsterdam2023 will be the genesis of this audacious goal that every person on earth will have the opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. This is a platform for nations to come together to hear the Holy Spirit in a unique way to help the world know Jesus Christ.”

The gathering in Amsterdam is designed to provide a collaborative atmosphere where believers worldwide can develop effective methods to fulfill the Great Commission. The EveryONE initiative includes:

  • Gathering evangelists and Great Commission-focused ministries for equipping and empowering.
  • Establishing a resource pool to support efforts for reaching unreached people.
  • Launching fresh Great Commission collaboration models in the E21 network and beyond.
  • Mobilizing new generations for Spirit-empowered evangelism.
  • Supporting, resourcing, and championing ministries that customize efforts within their constituencies to reach EveryONE.

Daniela Freidzon McCabe (executive pastor of King of Kings Church, Buenos Aires, Argentina) discussed the vitality of innovative methods to reach the world by 2033. She said, “We cannot permit ourselves to function on autopilot. Familiarity kills the spirit of innovation.” Pastor Daniela sees the story in Mark 2:4 as an inspiration for the EveryONE, stating, “These four friends were innovative. Just as they found a new way to get their friend to Jesus, we must find the freshness of the Spirit to evangelize differently. EveryONE is a groundbreaking opportunity to bring our generation to Jesus Christ.”

Global mobilization was among the topics of collaboration during the GEA session. The members prayerfully analyzed where the Holy Spirit is impacting geographic regions preparing for an increased harvest of people coming to Jesus. Evangelist Nathan Morris (founder of Shake the Nations Ministries) summarized the action steps for EveryONE, “Our plan will include intentional training centers that activate grass-roots measures to reach population centers and remote indigenous peoples and resourcing toward multi-impact evangelism.”

The 2022 leadership summit was the inaugural meeting for the E21 Global Prayer Alliance.  Brian Alarid (president of America Prays & World Prays) highlighted the unity experienced in the prayer alliance saying, “We are excited about building a global family of prayer network leaders to pray for every person on earth by 2033 in support of the EveryONE vision.”

Cindy Jacobs (co-founder of Generals International) summarized the motivation of EveryONE, “We have all heard the saying, ‘If you want what you’ve never had, you must do what you have never done.’ The EveryONE initiative is doing what has never been done to reach the world.”
