“I Am Sarah” Continues Lazarus Series into Middle Ages

BASYE, Va. — What would you do if you were immortal? In his latest book, “I Am Sarah,” author James Davison continues to explore this question through the fictional lives of the three people resurrected by the Son of God in AD 33—Lazarus of Bethany, the daughter of Jarius, and the son of the widow from Nain.

Readers were introduced to Lazarus, Sarah, and Elan in “I Am Lazarus,” the first book in the trilogy published in 2021. “I Am Sarah” continues the entertaining and intriguing series with a focus on Sarah, a one-time warrior now embracing a call to save lives rather than take them. As she moves through the Middle Ages still in search of her true purpose, she encounters well-known figures in history including Joan of Arc, Michelangelo, and Nostradamus.

“Move over, Dan Brown. “The Da Vinci Code” has a worthy rival for excitement, drama, and mystery,” said Elizabeth Cottrell, author of Heartspoken. “Like the first in the Lazarus series, this book is original in its premise, bold in its plot, and provocative in its theological and historical implications.”

Resource Publications, an imprint of Wipf and Stock Publishers of Eugene, Oregon published the Lazarus series, available for purchase on Amazon. A book trailer for “I Am Sarah” can be found on the author’s website www.jamesadavison.com behind the “Read More” tab.

Davison has traveled the world for his work in television news, politics, public relations, and law enforcement. He has dined with presidents, preachers, and prisoners. He draws on his many adventures, experiences, and relationships to craft his stories. The author’s previous books include the speculative fiction thriller “Trinity 3.11” (2019), book one in the Lazarus trilogy, “I Am Lazarus” (2021) and “Bottom Feeder” (2022), a serial killer mystery set in the bayous of rural Louisiana in 1974.
