The managing editor at Religion News Service occupies a wide-ranging editorial role, sharing broad leadership of the RNS newsroom with the editor-in-chief, including shaping an editorial voice and vision, conducting long-term editorial and budget planning, facilitating staff development and coordinating with the publisher and business staff. The managing editor leads daily and weekly editorial staff meetings, manages deadlines and maintains workflow in the course of the day and across the week. Grants Accountant (Part-time)
Religion News Foundation is seeking a grants accountant with strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and nonprofit accounting practices. In the last five years RNF’s grants portfolio has grown from one main funder to over 15 distinct grants. This new team member will take the lead in building our grants accounting function and will contribute to all functions of our accounting department. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and collaboratively.
