Roads west of Jeremie are narrower due to debris. Sections of the unpaved roads were also washed out, making transportation and distribution a logistical problem for many aid organizations. Some, such as Samaritan’s Purse, were using boats and barges to help distribute aid near coastal areas in order to avoid roads. RNS photo by Kit Doyle
