TBN to broadcast ‘Easter Sunday’ event featuring Bishop T.D. Jakes, Joel Osteen and more

ORANGE COUNTY, Calif. — TBN will broadcast an Easter service featuring some of the most prominent Christian voices today into the homes of tens of millions of Christians stranded by coronavirus this weekend. “Easter Sunday” will air worldwide on the network Sunday, April 12th at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, and will also broadcast on more than 130 local FOX Broadcasting Company affiliates in major markets across the U.S. (check local listings). The one-hour program will be hosted by renowned pastor Bishop T.D. Jakes, and headlined by some of America’s leading religious personalities including Joel Osteen, Jentezen Franklin, Robert Morris, Priscilla Shirer and Max Lucado, with music by Chris Tomlin, Michael W. Smith, Matt Redman and more.

“For TBN, Easter weekend will not be cancelled,” said TBN President and Chairman Matt Crouch. “Join our Global church family as we celebrate the most important date on our Christian Calendar. He is Risen!”

The notable speakers, many of whom broadcast their church services on TBN, will deliver Easter messages throughout the broadcast, which were pre-recorded in the week leading up to Easter.
