Partnership builds on shared mission of moving churches and ministry leaders forward in their leadership, thriving and flourishing

BOULDER, Colo. Gloo, a technology platform connecting the faith ecosystem, announced a strategic investment in Carey Nieuwhof Communications Limited (CNCL), a leading provider of content, courses and community for faith-aligned leaders.

With a flagship podcast in the top 0.1% of podcasts globally, digital training products, weekly email newsletters reaching more than 100,000 individuals, and a private online community of over 1,700 pastors and other leaders, CNCL enables the conversations, support and education on key topics that are relevant for today’s ministry landscape. In addition to hearing from Carey Nieuwhof, a bestselling author and pastor, leaders learn from guests and collaborators that range from faith leaders like Max Lucado, Craig Groeschel and the late Tim Keller to notable business leaders such as Seth Godin, Dave Ramsey and Ken Blanchard, as well as cultural figures including Willie and Korie Robertson, Ben Higgins, and restauranteur Will Guidara.

“For many years, Carey and his team have helped Gloo get the right messages to the right leaders,” said Brad Hill, chief solutions officer at Gloo. “With the opportunity to deepen our partnership, we were eager to make this investment, so that more leaders can benefit from Carey’s content, and more ministries can benefit from the effective tools and resources that his team has built.”

Gloo will seek to accelerate the growth of CNCL through wider distribution of digital courses, integration of the Art of Leadership Academy into the Gloo Workspace, and advertising opportunities for the growing community of Gloo Network partners. Gloo is already applying its AI tools to enrich and widen the distribution of content from CNCL, and to develop new engagement and partnership pathways. Additionally, major initiatives like State of the Church and Back to Church Sunday will benefit from the training and guidance that CNCL’s team provides for these types of offerings.

“For my wife Toni and I, the partnership with Gloo is a remarkable opportunity,” said Carey Nieuwhof, founder and CEO. “There is a very short list of organizations with whom I would want to work at this level. The Gloo team has such a deep care for the Church and its leaders, and they have been among our closest partners for several years.

“Our mission is centered on helping leaders grow their leadership and their church, and I firmly believe that the connected platform for the faith ecosystem that Gloo is building is necessary in order for this mission to come true. I’m excited not only to continue as CEO of CNCL but to double down on my passion for creating content and connections that serve leaders. I believe we’ll now go further with the team and capabilities from Gloo.”

The staff at CNCL will continue to serve in their respective roles, while their products such as The Art of Preaching, At Your Best Course, and The Art of Pastoral Succession will see additional exposure in the Gloo Discover marketplace.
