Christian activist tries to give Rep. Ryan a Bible

Our article yesterday focused on liberal Christians who argue that the 2012 GOP budget is more inspired by atheist novelist and philosopher Ayn Rand than by the Bible.

At the Faith & Freedom Coalition gathering in Washington today, one such activist pressed the point by trying to give House Budget Committee Chair Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., the budget’s author, a Bible. Ryan, as you can see in this video, said he’s already got some Bibles, thanks, and doesn’t seem to happy about the offer’s implication.
