Beer and baseball (via the AP)

Like Homer Simpson, I have two abiding loves in my life (besides, of course, my family). They are beer and baseball.

The Associated Press was nice enough to oblige me with two fun pieces last week.

In the first, Eric Gorksi finds God at the Great American Beer Festival.


In the second, Rachel Zoll explores whether the Tampa Bay Rays’ newfound success has anything to do with exorcising the “devil” from their nickname.
