One place this protester won’t be

Protests outside the funeral Saturday of abortion doctor George Tiller would be most inappropriate, Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, told USA Today.

His anti-abortion group protested for years outside Tiller’s clinic, where late-term abortions were performed. But Newman said the funeral of the doctor, who was killed Sunday while ushering at his church, is an entirely different matter.

“It would be morally reprehensible if anybody shows up” to protest,” he said.
