WASHINGTON — Catholic Mobilizing Network will host a national press call on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 9:00am EST to launch a new initiative, The National Catholic Pledge to End the Death Penalty. Featuring Bishop Frank J Dewane of the United States Conference Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Domestic Justice and Human Development, this press call will also include the perspective of a victim’s family member as well as a death penalty expert providing historical information and statistic related to capital punishment in the United States.
