After the success of Shincheonji Church’s online seminars about the fulfillment of the book of Revelation, it hosted a Press Conference for American Journalists to give information about the next upcoming seminar series.
Shincheonji Church of Jesus hosted an online Press Conference on Friday, January 14th at 6:00 pm CST. The event, titled “Shincheonji Americas Press Conference” was in response to growing interest among pastors and media after the Revelation fulfillment Seminars that had been live-streamed in November and December of 2021 had great success. The seminars drew over 700 pastors who asked for collaboration in learning the scripture from Shincheonji. The series, entitled The Testimony on the Prophecies and Fulfillment of Revelation gathered over 100 media representatives from almost 30 different countries and a total of over 6 million viewers.
The Press Conference was live-streamed from the Shincheonji Church’s official YouTube channel and it featured different pastors around the world wanting to collaborate with Shincheonji who had attended the Revelation seminar series late last year. There was also a speech from Shincheonji Chairman Man Hee Lee, who has been working for over 39 years to provide this Bible education for free worldwide and is now live streaming the content for all people to watch. Several media companies came to gather the press including Religio Mag, Bolsa de Noticias (a Nicaraguan TV station), and many other international TV and radio stations tuning in to hear about more upcoming seminars from the church.
A new seminar series is coming from Shincheonji Church after the Revelation Seminars, as the book of Revelation can be more clearly understood after learning the parables of the Bible. Therefore, the church will now be hosting the series entitled The Parables of the Secrets of Heaven and the Testimony of the Fulfillment which began January 3rd. This seminar series will be 24 lectures long and free for all people to access and learn the Bible. A new lecture is live-streamed every Sunday and Wednesday at 7 pm CST.
Chairman Lee expressed the importance of understanding the Bible at this time. “It says in the Bible that things will not remain as parables forever, but there will come a time when things will be spoken plainly – this is when the prophecies in parables become fulfilled.” He added, “These true entities will be revealed in the future lectures.”
A representative of Shincheonji described the effect of these seminars on Christian pastors and the response that has been received so far. “The 1,200 pastors who signed an MOU [Memorandum of Understanding] regarding Bible education will be listening to this seminar series. Every believer of God should understand these words – we ask all of the Christians around the world, including pastors, to pay close attention.”
The ongoing Parables seminar series will be broadcast in 24 different languages on the church’s YouTube Channel. The channel and Parables of the Secrets of Heaven videos can be found in English here uploaded as the videos are live-streamed: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCabtTeBL3wON9nGJmPwU_4Q
Here are some questions that were asked during the Q&A Session of the Shincheonji Americas Press Conference:
Journalist: How has Shincheonji been growing this fast?
Chairman Lee: Since I was a farmer in a small village, I didn’t know anything about tradition and knowledge of other religions and churches. But God and Jesus have been shown me the true entity of the fulfillment of the prophecy. So, I can testify what I saw as God and Jesus requested me to do. Since I followed God and Jesus’s will, everything has been going well.
J: Why have Korean pastors been persecuting Shincheonji? What is your plan next after testifying the meaning of the Revelation?
CL: Since the prophecy is written and hidden in parables, there were many incorrect explanations about the prophecies. But now the prophecies are fulfilled, and the true meaning of the prophecies has been revealed, so the false explanations are also revealed. Therefore, Korean pastors who gave wrong explanations have been persecuting us. But I didn’t make this word in my own. Since God showed us the true entity of his promise, we need to watch and realize that to enter the Kingdom of Heaven and receive eternal life. We can achieve it through further discussion.
J: Chairman, can you explain a little bit more about what you heard and saw that you mentioned during the Revelation seminar?
CL: I heard and saw the fulfillment of the book of Revelation, which contains only 22 chapters. While Jesus received the sealed book from God and opened the seals one by one, I saw the fulfillment of the prophecy written in the book. Although other pastors may talk about just what they think, I testify what I saw and heard through the Holy Spirit.
J: Why does this word have to be delivered to all nations?
CL: If Moses didn’t reveal himself, physical Israel had to live in Egypt. Although Jesus was persecuted, he testified what he saw and heard in Jn. 5:19-20. Today, God fulfilled the prophecy in the Revelation in one place. So, how can all of the pastors recognize it? Jesus showed to John the fulfillment in Rv. 22:8, and requested him to testify this for the churches. So, I asked international journalists to broadcast the testimony of the fulfillment of Revelation. We are testifying for mankind and the common good.
J: The number of Christians are decreasing worldwide. What is the role of these seminars today?
CL: Faith can fall because of being idle. If you don’t know God’s word, we should find the person who can testify the word correctly. Let’s listen and understand the word to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Pastors can listen and understand this word first. After that, they can teach their saints by themselves. Jesus gave us the Revelation as the New Testament during the Passover in Lk. 22:14-20. If we don’t know the meaning of the Revelation, how can we have faith? Jesus told us no one can enter the Kingdom of Heaven without understanding Revelation. How can we enter without knowing the Revelation?
