While dayslong debates on sexuality and international structure gained plenty of attention, United Methodists also set policy on a host of other items at their General Conference in Fort Worth, Texas. The Methodists set their budget, changed their motto, elected a judicial council, decided to remain a member of a pro-abortion rights coalition, approved full communion with Lutherans, condemned war and refused to divest from corporations that do business in occupied territories in Israel.
