Back when I watched the show “Lost,” I noticed that characters had philosophically loaded names like “John Locke” and “Rousseau,” and enjoyed the exploration of island ethics a la “Lord of the Flies.” The Jesuit weekly America digs a little deeper into the show’s spirituality here.
