    SNAP says Abp. Dolan didn’t “do enough” to stop clergy sex abuse, but they fail to provide any examples or evidence to back up this accusation. So, do accusations stand without evidence (let alone proof) now? Does SNAP get to smear this guy simply by accusing him, without bothering with any of that quaint, old-fashioned evidence stuff?

    As for the charge that The Scandal still “looms in front of” the Milwaukee Archdiocese–where is the evidence for *that*? Evidence, please. Is that too much to ask?

    It is irresponsible of SNAP to make sweeping, damaging accusations without providing the slightest evidence. And it is irresponsible of RNS to quote SNAP in this instance as though they were an unbiased group making credible, substantiated accusations.

    Abp. Dolan sounds like a wonderful archbishop. Deo gratias!
