Happy Valentine's Day!

Google's Valentine's Day “doodle” is dang-near adorable, complete with music, graphics, and story-ness. The tail-end of the video, however, is raising a few eyebrows in conservative Christian communities: in a montage of happy couples near the end of the video, Google includes a same-sex couple. Conservative bloggers might leap on the move soon, but in the meantime you can watch the video and learn more about how it was made.

As for your Video of the Day — no, Star Trek technically isn't a religion. (although it comes pretty close for some people…) Still, fans of the series might find the proposal below out-of-this-world. (hint: Captain Piccard's catchphrase on the series is “Engage!”) Catch some more “adorkable” proposals here.
