Hi friends,
Some of you know that I am artistically challenged, design delayed, etc. I am primarily a “word person.” Where design is concerned I often know what I like when I see it, but I have a harder time articulating why. Likewise, when something isn’t working, I can’t always think of constructive suggestions for improving it.
SO . . . I need your help. The designers for The Twible, my forthcoming humor book, have come back with some great preliminary suggestions for the book’s logo and brand. This logo will likely be used on the cover, any advertisements and promo materials, and the spine of the book. It needs to be sharp and clear but also fun and clever, in keeping with the quirky feel of the project.
I’m offering a $50 Amazon gift card to the person who offers the most helpful suggestions in the comments here on the blog. To qualify, tell me which of the six images below is your favorite and why you like it. If your image is the one ultimately chosen to be the logo for The Twible, you’ll be eligible to win the gift card. If there are several comments all pointing to the same image, the winner will be the one who offered the most helpful and constructive tips for making that logo even better in the next design round. I’m talking about specific suggestions like color choice, font, spacing, image, etc. Maybe you like the image from one, the color of another, and the font of a third. Be sure to refer to the image #s of anything you suggest.
The contest ends on Friday. Thanks a million! –JKR
