(RNS) The filmmakers knew they wanted to tell a story about a Muslim who did something heroic during World War II, because so few stories are known. Noor Inayat Khan’s story was the most alluring because of her deep spirituality.

  • Khan’s mother, Ora Baker, was a cousin of the founder of the Christian Science church, Mary Baker Eddy.

Muslims want what White Christians have made off this country and they have failed in their own country , but they hate whites and Christians

I would like to see the movie about the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and his relationship with Hitler and Hitler’s 2 divisions of Muslims who joined to kill Jews… Why don’t we make a movie like that instead of this veiled attempt to show the couple of “nice Muslims”.

The advertising for this movie is misleading in that way, but Noor was unquestionably a great Heroine..I will be honored to see this film..The Sufis are a mystical sect of Islam that are not accepted by the majority of Muslims and not representative of Muslims in general. This may help a few Muslims identify with “good” Moslems, but I don’t know if Sufi’s really see themselves as Muslims. In America there are many New Age types and people of other faiths who hang out with the Sufis, but the Islamic aspects of their allegiance is almost impossible to detect. Looking for token Muslims who have done good deeds for outsiders demeans the real truth of who the Sufis are, and the greatness of this heroic martyr.

The whole world knows and sees it’s the Israeli Zionist Jews that are killing Palestinian Muslims and occupying their land illegally proclaimed by the international law. Who are you kidding? Your dumb sick perverted mind or the likes that support your distorted view?

Wow. What a bunch of ignorant haters. Noor Inayat Khan is just one of many of the unknown Muslims who stood up to the Nazis. This is not about a few “nice” Muslims. Khan, along with hundreds of thousands of Muslims around the world n countries ranging from Tunisia to Albania defended Jews militarily, and hid them in their homes and mosques to protect them from the Nazis. The Grand Mosque of Paris was one such place and the Imam there gave shelter to countless Jews fleeing Nazis who had occupied the city in 1940. If you choose to look for this information you will find it. If you choose to remain hateful bigots, well, it’s a free country. But know that there is wealth of information your small-mindedness will refuse to accept. And if you do choose to step out of your bigot zone, you may want to check this out:

Well said, Meg. Sadly there are a lot of Americans, many of whom think of themselves as ‘good Christians’ who are hateful bigots. These right wingers are small-minded. If one tries to inform them of anything other than what they already have made up their minds to believe they will attack you as being one of ‘them’–that is, the bad guys.
