Pope Francis announces the next location of World Youth Day!

 Krakow, Poland (July 31st, 2016)

Pope Francis during the closing Vigil at Campus Misericordiae, the final mass and farewell of WYD Krakow 2016, announces the next location of World Youth Day 2019 will be in the Central American country of Panama.


After months of speculation, it is official that all pilgrims from around the world will prepare for the next three years to meet in Panama to further their spiritual dedication to the Catholic faith.

Pope Francis will leave Krakow the afternoon of July 31st and World Youth Day 2016 Krakow will pass the torch to the Archdiocese and official delegation of Panama.
